Portfolio Management: Challenges and Solutions

Ian has headed up the Programme & Project delivery Group at Oxford University since 2013 and is responsible for the planning and delivery of a rolling three-year IT investment plan to deliver new and improved services across the University of Oxford.

Mark has been Head of the Delivery Management Office at Cambridge University for 3 years. What motivates him is using technology to improve the services they deliver and way they work as a University.  His team are responsible for managing IT portfolios and for managing IT delivery. He is also leading on introducing a consistent approach to change management (the people side of change) within the University, to help strengthen the adoption of the work they deliver. Prior to working at Cambridge, he held a range of portfolio, programme and project roles in HEI, private and public sectors.

Andy is Planning & Engagement Director within IT at King’s College London. Recent focus has been on project assurance, developing our use of PowerBI reporting across the portfolio landscape, and continuous improvement of IT’s ways of working.

Louise heads up the Digital Environment portfolio team delivering Infrastructure, Platforms and Cyber Security projects for King’s College London.
