UCISA22 Pre-conference session with Handshake: Integrating Predictive Analytics into Graduate Outcomes
Legacy Career Management solutions are often disconnected, standalone systems focused on operational tasks, providing poor user experience (and hence low student engagement) with limited analytics.
With Student Employability (aka Graduate Outcomes) now a critical measure of success - with a heavy weighting in any university ranking - it is imperative that a Careers Platform not only connect students with employment opportunities, but also enable the university to monitor all interactions and quickly identify where interventions are needed.
Handshake is now providing the networked technology platform for more than 1,400 university partners across the US and UK, combining an excellent student experience (high engagement) with provision of detailed analytics across every part of the hiring process, synchronising these with central university systems.
As we look to the future, we want to help lead the way in creating analytics tools that can help equip our university partners with what they need to reach students that often fall through the cracks, plan where they need to deploy their resources, and tell the story of their impact.
Innovation like this must be collaborative; we want to incorporate the feedback and perspective of experts who are creating the future of Information Systems in UK Higher Education. This session will be a place for us to:
