Digital Sustainability in Practice: What Are BRMs Hearing Across the Sector?
About the Event
Digital sustainability is appearing in more strategies, more conversations, and more board discussions than ever before. Yet many institutions are still grappling with what it means in practice.
The UCISA Digital Sustainability and Business Relationship Management communities invite you to an open-mic discussion hosted by Henrik Brogger, Director of Digital Operations and Service Delivery at University of Reading; Richard Manley, Strategic Business Partner at University of the West of England; and Stella Poole, Head of Core Systems Optimisation Team at University of Birmingham. In this open-mic session, they will explore what BRMs are hearing from stakeholders across the sector and how Business Partner roles can champion Sustainability as a fundamental priority.
What challenges are emerging? Where, are opportunities being identified? How are institutions balancing sustainability ambitions with financial pressures, AI adoption, digital transformation, and growing expectations from staff and students?
This interactive session is designed to encourage honest conversation, shared learning, and sector-wide insight. An opportunity to exchange experiences and explore the realities of digital sustainability together.
Join us and help shape the conversation.
