About the Event
Many universities struggle with fragmented student services, outdated gateways and low engagement rates – so how can they create a unified, connected digital journey? In this UCISA webinar, Chris Garratt, Deputy CIO at the University of Worcester, shares how the institution partnered with PebblePad’s myday team to move away from an under-utilised desktop-based platform to a fully personalised, mobile-first portal now accessed by thousands of students.
The session explores the challenges Worcester faced – including low engagement from applicants and international students – and how a strong focus on personalisation, user research and mobile access led to significant, measurable improvements. Chris also reveals why the myday-powered ‘MyWorcester’ mobile app has been central to the new approach, achieving over 7,000 downloads and increasing applicant ID uploads to 95%.
Hosted by the UCISA’s Nathanial Morosoli with contributions from Andrew Taylor, Chief Revenue Officer at PebblePad, the session reflects on what worked for Worcester, what changed and what other institutions can learn from the university’s transformative experience.
