08 July 2021 - ucisa Events Team Changes
Here at ucisa HQ, we have been working hard to deliver against our strategic plan to 2022, providing more events and new services to our community to further build and strengthen our membership offering. We are excited to announce that, in line with the fourth goal of this strategy, some changes have been made to the ucisa Events Team to improve our capacity to deliver events, as we look to a hybrid model of both face to face and virtual events from March 2022.
Siân Thomas has been promoted to the role of Events Manager (EM), providing strategic and operational leadership and management of ucisa events, and leading our Corporate Member Scheme. The EM will play the lead role in creating, developing, and managing a high quality and efficient service to the ucisa members.
Bríd Field returns from maternity leave later this week as Events & Membership Officer. In this role, Bríd provides operational delivery, support and administration of events and our corporate membership scheme – as well as administering the survey tool used for event feedback.
Richard Stone takes up a new post as Senior Events and Communications Assistant, responsible for planning and delivering ucisa’s communications across the organisation, such as the weekly Digest and ucisa member updates – as well as supporting the Events Manager and Events & Membership Officer with the logistics and operational management and administration of events.
Looking ahead, we will be recruiting a new Events Assistant in the coming months to ensure the continued success of ucisa’s Events Programme in 2022 and beyond.
