We are deeply saddened to share the news that Mick Jenkins, Chief Information Security Officer at Brunel University London, has passed away following a short illness.
Larger than life, Mick was a highly regarded member of the ucisa community, with an infectious enthusiasm for his work and a natural gift as a storyteller. Indeed, the ucisa event he led earlier this year, The Shifting Axis of Cyber Crime, still holds the record as our most popular to date.
A colleague of Mick’s has published a lovely piece celebrating his life, which can be found on the Brunel University London website. Here, details of Mick’s funeral have also been shared, for those who wish to attend.
