Student Loans Company – Provider Systems Strategic Review for corporate members

As part of ucisa’s ongoing work to build relationships with important stakeholders, we are pleased to announce two exciting collaboration events with the Student Loans Company (SLC).

SLC are currently undertaking a strategic review to shape the future roadmap for their Provider systems. To ensure the ucisa community’s voice is represented in this review, ucisa will be hosting two webinars to provide SLC with a further opportunity to obtain a detailed understanding of the needs of their user groups, together with their current journeys and pain points to allow a full assessment of what changes are potentially required.

This feedback will support the SLC objective to transform their service, allowing institutions to interact with the SLC more easily and ensuring a highly efficient and predominantly digital service for students.

The second of these sessions is for ucisa corporate members, and will explore areas such as:

• how Providers (institutions) want to engage with SLC on this strategy
• Providers future strategy and vision
• the future technical landscape for those systems that interface with SLC
• constraints / issues / pain points with the current technology
• understand the impact of and appetite for change

Conversations around these areas will help to inform the SLC’s Provider Strategy, within their overall Technology Strategy. Please do encourage your IT leaders to attend this important meeting to ensure your institution’s perspective is integrated into SLC’s strategic review.
