This year's Leadership Conference is coming back to Manchester. Manchester Central is an award-winning venue in the heart of one of Europe's most vibrant cities. Its vaulted arches and station clock have made Manchester Central an iconic city feature for over 130 years.
Manchester has it all. An intoxicating mix of old and new, amazing architecture, fantastic culturally diverse quarters, like Chinatown, the Gay village and the Curry mile. This once industrial metropolis has transformed itself into England’s edgy northern capital – it’s the home of some of Britain’s biggest music legends, iconic landmarks, a thriving arts and culture scene and world-famous sports.
This year we are using three hotels, firstly the iconic The Midland, 16 Peter Street, Manchester, M60 2DS, and is just across the road from Manchester Central. This impressive hotel, built in 1903 offers a gym, relaxation pool and spa, details of which can be found on their website. The overflow hotels are is Jury's Manchester, Great Bridgewater St, Manchester, M1 5LE, a 5 minute walk to Manchester Central and Hilton Manchester Deansgate, 303 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 4LQ a 6 minute walk to Manchester Central.
The Tuesday evening drinks reception and dinner will be held at Albert Hall, 27 Peter St, Manchester, M2 5QR. Albert Hall is a 3 minute walk from the Midland and Manchester Central and 10 minutes from Jurys.
By car
Manchester is at the heart of a comprehensive motorway network. Manchester's M60 orbital motorway provides easy access from north, south, east and west.Directions:
M6 (from south – Stoke-on-Trent, Birmingham)
Leave the M6 at junction 19, just after Knutsford Services. Follow the A556 towards Altrincham and pick up the M56 towards Manchester Airport. Follow the motorway onto the A5103 (Princess Parkway), then follow signs for Manchester Central, Petersfield.
M6 (from north – Preston, Blackpool, Carlisle)
Leave the M6 at junction 21a for the M62 towards Manchester. At junction 12, join the M602 and continue to the end of the motorway (Regent Road Roundabout, Salford). Follow signs to the city centre along Regent Road, and then to Manchester Central, Petersfield.
M62 (from west – Liverpool)
At M62 junction 12, join the M602 and continue to the end of the motorway (Regent Road Roundabout, Salford). Follow signs to the city centre along Regent Road, and then to Manchester Central, Petersfield.
M62 (from east – Leeds, Yorkshire)
At M62 junction 18, join the M60 west-bound. Take junction 17 onto the A56 (Bury New Road) and follow signs to the city centre, and then to Manchester Central, Petersfield.
M56 (from west – North Wales, Chester, Ellesmere Port)
Follow the M56 past Manchester Airport. Continue onto the A5103 (Princess Parkway), then follow signs for Manchester Central, Petersfield.
Parking
There is a 24-hour NCP car park directly below Manchester Central. It has 720 spaces including 18 disabled parking bays and three electric vehicle charging points. There is direct access to Manchester Central by lift, stairs and escalator. By train
Manchester Central is a 20 minute walk from Piccadilly Station or just five minutes by taxi. Alternatively, catch a connecting train to Oxford Road Station - just five minutes from Manchester Central on foot.
By air
Manchester Airport is approximately 25 minutes away by taxi or just 20 minutes via the half-hourly express rail service (tickets £3.00-£4.00).
Green transport whilst travelling around the city
On arrival in Manchester you can walk to Manchester Central, catch a Metroshuttle bus, Metrolink tram or take a taxi. There is a downloadable public transport map to assist in finding your ideal route to Manchester

Metrolink
The nearest Metrolink stop to Manchester Central is St Peter's Square. From there, we’re just a few minutes on foot.
Metrolink runs every few minutes from early morning until late in the evening. You don’t need a timetable, just turn up, buy your ticket and the next Metrolink will be along shortly.
