To ensure our upcoming UCISA DIG22 conference is accessible to those who may not have had the opportunity to attend before, UCISA is excited to announce the launch of the new DIG22 Plus One Scheme. With the growing challenge of talent management coinciding with a tightening of budgets in many institutions, UCISA is supporting its members by introducing a scheme enabling a delegate attending the full DIG22 conference programme to bring along a first-time delegate to DIG22 from their institution.
The DIG22 Plus One Scheme will enable UCISA members currently booked to attend the conference to refer a colleague who has never previously attended a face-to-face UCISA conference, by completing this short form. A limited number of places will be available for this bursary funding, which is intended to support deserving colleagues who will benefit from the experience of attending DIG22, but whose institution would not have the budget for them to do so.
Before referring a colleague, please ensure that you notify them first and make them aware that to be eligible, they will be required to share their findings from the conference with their colleagues post-event, as well as to produce a short blog about their experience that may be published on the UCISA website.
Referees must have a booked their place for the full DIG22 conference by the deadline of Wednesday 28 September and complete the short application form, explaining the reasons why their nominated colleague deserves a bursary-funded place at DIG22.
Successful applicants will need to book (and pay for) their place at the conference through their institution in the normal way. The institution may than claim a refund of the delegate fee of £450 + VAT from UCISA by completing a separate form to confirm that their delegate attended, shared their conference findings with colleagues and submitted the required blog.
