Procurement in HE: Innovating for Tomorrow

Procurement and contracts are vital to the smooth, safe and legal running of IT services. However, it's unfortunate that at times, the essential due diligence they require can be overlooked. Many organisations have been signed up to poor services at high cost when purchases have been made without seeking the correct advice.

IT procurement is a specialist area of work and close interactions with IT is necessary to make sure that the job is done well.   Failure to do this can lead to situations you do not want to be in!

During this session the London Group will talk to the UCISA procurement group and a number of procurement teams from within the sector that do this job that is so vital and yet under appreciated.
