SUG24 PlusOne Scheme Available
UCISA is pleased to announce that it is continuing to support to its Bursary-funded PlusOne scheme and therefore we are extending the PlusOne scheme for Digital Sustainability Conference 2024: Green, greener, greenest – or green at all?. The scheme will ensure the conference is accessible to those who may not have had the opportunity to attend before.
With the growing challenge of talent management coinciding with a tightening of budgets in many institutions, UCISA is continuing to support its members by enabling delegates attending the full programme to bring along a first-time delegate to SUG24 from their institution.
The UCISA PlusOne Scheme will enable UCISA members currently booked to attend the conference to refer a colleague who has never previously attended a face-to-face UCISA conference, by completing this short form. A limited number of places will be available for this bursary funding, which is intended to support colleagues who will benefit from the experience of attending the Conference, but whose institution would not have the budget for them to do so. As part of UCISA’s commitment to inclusion, we welcome referrals from colleagues from under-represented backgrounds.
Before referring a colleague, please ensure that you discuss with referral with them first and make them aware that to be eligible, they will be required to share their findings from the conference with their institutional colleagues’ post-event, as well as disseminate their experience in a multimedia format of their choice that may be published on the UCISA website and/or social media channels.
Referees must have a booked their place for the full the Digital Sustainability Conference on the early bird rate by the deadline of 3 May 2024 and, in the bursary application form, explain the reasons why their nominated colleague deserves a bursary-funded place at SUG24 Conference.
Successful applicants will be contacted by the UCISA Events team regarding booking their full place at the Conference.
