About the Event

Working in Higher Education and in technology today requires professionals to be adaptable and apply their knowledge and skills in new and different ways. To be our best at work requires an understanding of who we are, what we stand for and what energises us. Then we are able to articulate and demonstrate what we can bring to the workplace.

Aristotle said “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom” and after many career highs and lows we have enough self-knowledge to be our best at work, and this clarity allows us to identify and overcome barriers, and harness opportunities in the workplace and make sound choices for us.

After a successful 20 minute workshop at UCISA WiT24 earlier this year, this webinar will provide extended time to explore the practical exercises for individuals to reflect and follow their own path to wisdom. Exercises include identification and reflection of personal values, job motivators and individual strengths.

This will be an interactive webinar, with a mixture of personal reflections and group activities in breakout rooms. Due to this there will not be a recording of the session but all resources will be accessible on a website afterwards.

Whether you are looking to gain insights for yourself, or you have a role in supporting the development of others (through line management, coaching or  mentoring) this webinar will equip you with some practical tools to do this.
