UCISA is pleased to announce that it is continuing to support its Bursary-funded PlusOne scheme for DIG25: AI – Friend or Foe?
With the growing challenge of talent management coinciding with a tightening of budgets in many institutions, UCISA is continuing to support its members by enabling delegates attending the full DIG25 conference programme to bring along an institutional colleague to DIG25.
The UCISA PlusOne Scheme will enable UCISA members who have booked to attend the conference by the early bird deadline to refer an institutional colleague by completing this PlusOne nomination form. The closing date for submissions is Friday 5th September.
Conference delegates can nominate a colleague from their institution for a PlusOne Bursary funded place regardless of whether they have attended previous UCISA conferences.
Previous recipients of the PlusOne scheme have said:
“DIG24 provided an excellent opportunity to engage with others in the cybersecurity community, especially for those focused on the Cyber Essentials program. I went in with high expectations for networking and discovering improvements for our own Cyber Essentials implementation, and the conference certainly delivered on both fronts.”
and
“The conference has equipped me with fresh ideas and strategies on how my university can improve its security posture, and I can’t wait to share these ideas with other colleagues at the university.”
A limited number of places are available for this bursary funding, which is intended to support colleagues who will benefit from the experience of attending DIG25, but whose institution would not have the budget for them to do so.
As part of UCISA’s commitment to inclusion, we welcome referrals from colleagues from under-represented backgrounds. Preference will be given to those who have not attended a UCISA conference before, but delegates can nominate anyone from their institution.
Before referring a colleague, please ensure that you discuss referral with them first and make them aware that to be eligible, they will be required to share their findings from the conference with their institutional colleagues’ post-event, as well as disseminate their experience in a format of their choice that may be published on the UCISA website and/or social media channels.
Referees must have booked their place for the full DIG25 Conference by the early bird deadline of Friday 19th September 2025, and in the PlusOne nomination form, explain the reasons why their nominated colleague deserves a bursary-funded place at DIG25. The closing date for submissions is Friday 5th September.
Successful nominees will be contacted by the UCISA Events team regarding booking their full place at DIG25.
