UCISA's Corporate Information Systems Community draws on the experience and shared knowledge of UCISA members involved in the implementation and operation of Lifecycle Business and Corporate Information Systems. The CIS Community carries out an annual survey of all UCISA member institutions to establish a picture of corporate information systems in use across HE and FE. This Community drives networking, collaboration and thought leadership by bringing together people with a common interest in the use of corporate information systems in educational institutions. We share best practice and offer useful hints and tips based on real life experience. We act as a base for additional cooperation between educational institutions – and help foster an informed approach to challenges such as sector, supplier and legislative issues. We contribute to UCISA’s collective view on legislative or operational matters. Every UCISA Higher Education member institution is able to nominate someone as their recognised representative on the Corporate Information Systems Community – usually the most senior staff member tasked with managing Administrative and/or Corporate Information Systems within the institution.Who we are

Individual members with an interest in Corporate Information Systems are also welcome to join the CISG email list hosted by JISCmail. The forum provides members with the opportunity for the discussion and exchange of information on the provision of management information, administrative computing and related corporate services. In addition, joining promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing and the chance to exchange views and opinions.
Member Email lists
Group discussion lists are to be used by members to discuss subjects of common interest. People entitled to join the list are members of Full and Affiliate member institutions (ie not Corporate members). The lists should not be used to advertise or promote Corporate member or non-members events/services/products. These should be posted via the UCISA-announce list.
