What we do
This community aims to be the forum for institutions, the UK Government, and systems vendors to agree solutions to automate and streamline the administration of immigration in universities and colleges.
The community is open to anyone in a member college or institution who has an interest in immigration administration or the student systems supporting this activity. Representatives of student systems vendors and the UK Government are encouraged to attend by invitation.
Area of competence
This community shall concern itself, primarily, with the technical implementation of IT systems to facilitate immigration administration. We will foster close working relationships with other sector bodies and refer any matters in their areas of competence to them.
Other sector bodies and their areas of competence include, but are not limited to:
- The UK Council for International Student Affairs - Student (and related) immigration law advice and analysis
- The Association of International Student Advisors - The professional body for those practicing immigration law in UK education intuitions
- The Immigration Compliance Network - The professional body for those responsible for immigration compliance activities in UK education institutions

Member Email lists
Group discussion lists are to be used by members to discuss subjects of common interest. People entitled to join the list are members of Full and Affiliate member institutions (ie not Corporate members). The lists should not be used to advertise or promote Corporate member or non-members events/services/products. These should be posted via the UCISA-announce list.
