18 January 2022 - The UCISA Awards 2022 deadline for submissions extended to 7th February

Since March 2020, staff across the sector have ensured the steady continuation of education in the most challenging of circumstances, a huge achievement facilitated by the hard work, determination, and enterprising spirit of everyone involved.

Therefore, we are thrilled to announce the return of the UCISA Awards, to recognise, celebrate and promote the outstanding achievements and innovation of staff working in IT. Kindly sponsored by UCISA corporate member CDW, the UCISA Awards provide an opportunity to recognise IT professionals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty, acting as role models for peers across the sector.

For more information and to download the Awards submission pack please see the Awards page.

Applications for the UCISA Awards will close at 17:00, 7th February 2022.

Finalists are recognised and category recipients announced at the annual UCISA22 Leadership Conference, taking place Tuesday 29th – Thursday 31st March 2022.

As ever, the Leadership Conference is an event not to be missed – the conference will address key issues facing CIO’s such cyber security, sustainability, and supporting excellence in teaching and learning.

Highlights include sessions from VC’s in the UK and internationally, a panel of CIO’s who have experienced a cyber-attack will share their experiences, Heidi Fraser- Krauss who will by then have completed her first 6 months as CEO of Jisc, and we will discuss how we build on the momentum and influence CIO’s gained during the pandemic.

If you would like to attend but have not yet booked a place, you can still do so at www.ucisa.ac.uk/UCISA22 – places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment!

We look forward to receiving your nominations for the six UCISA Award categories, and seeing you for our first face to face conference in over two years!
