16 September 2024 - The UCISA Mentoring scheme
We are pleased to announce our Autumn iteration of the UCISA Mentoring Scheme is open for registration from mentees.
The scheme will support mentees from across our member institutions with their career and professional development, pairing them with experienced volunteer mentors from across member institutions.
Individuals from institutional members can apply for the scheme by completing the Mentee Application form.
We welcome applications from individuals from underrepresented groups and encourage all applicants to note:
- The Autumn Mentoring Scheme will run for approximately 9 months from November 2024
- Mentors and Mentees are asked to commit to a minimum of 1 introductory meeting and 5 meetings during the period of scheme.
- As a mentee, please ensure that you have your line manager's permission/agreement to attend the meetings with mentors and undertake any recommended activities between meetings.
- UCISA does not collect demographic data on individuals, so please include any information you wish to inform UCISA of in assisting with your application.
UCISA will match as many mentees as possible from our available pool of mentors. However, if for any reason, a mentor cannot be matched, applicants will be given priority in the next iteration of the Mentoring Scheme.
