About the Event

Sustainability – getting it right for the future of IT

Join us for the first UCISA London event of 2022, which will consider sustainable practices in IT. With UN Secretary-General António Guterres describing the climate emergency as “the defining issue of our time”, sustainability in our institutions is a priority for staff and students alike.

This session features speakers from across higher education along with the author, Mike Halsey who has written a new book about Green IT. The goal is to provide information and experience to improve your organisations sustainability to provoke conversation about ways to improve.
