Sustainability Conference Plus One Scheme

Sustainability Conference Plus One Scheme Available

We are pleased to announce that the UCISA Bursary-funded Plus One scheme is now open for UCISA’s inaugural Sustainability Conference (SUG23). The scheme will ensure the conference is accessible to those who may not otherwise have had the opportunity to attend.

Delegates who have already booked their place can nominate a colleague for bursary funding by completing this short nomination formNominations must be received by the deadline of 26 May 2023.

A limited number of places will be available for this bursary funding, which is intended to support colleagues who will benefit from the experience of attending SUG23, but whose institution would not have the budget for them to do so. As part of UCISA’s commitment to inclusion, we welcome referrals from colleagues from under-represented backgrounds.

Before nominating a colleague, please ensure that you first make them aware that to be eligible, they will be required to share their findings from the conference with their institutional colleagues’ post-event, as well as disseminate their experience in a multimedia format of their choice that may be published on the UCISA website and/or social media channels.

Successful nominees will need to book (and pay for) their place at the conference through their institution in the normal way.  The nominee may than claim a refund of the delegate fee of £150 + VAT from UCISA by completing a separate form to confirm that they attended, shared their conference findings with colleagues and shared the agreed outputs with UCISA.
