Implementation models
There are a number of different approaches you might take to changing from one system to another. The main alternatives are:
- 'Big Bang' approach;
- parallel running;
- phased implementation;
- piloting.

There is no single 'best' approach. The right model for your institution will depend on your own organisational structure and capabilities and the type of courses you run.
